Implants Crowns

Implants Crowns

Trauma, decay and gum disease may result in tooth loss. However if you have sufficient bone mass in your jaw, you could be a good candidate for dental implants.

A dental implant is a replacement for the root or roots of a tooth. Like teeth roots, dental implants are secured in the jawbone and are not visible once surgically placed.

The implant procedure takes place in three phases. First, an implants specialist will implant a titanium stud or screw into your jawbone and cover it with a temporary crown while your jaw and gums heal.

Once your implant has healed, our dentists will then take impressions of your bite and create a permanent crown to be anchored on your implant.

Finally, when the crown comes back from the lab, our dentists will fit it to your mouth so that it perfectly simulates a natural tooth.
