Dr. Jimmy Yang

Dr. Yang graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2004 with a Bachelor of Dental Science. He began his career in Queensland Public Health Dental Services prior to moving to private practice. Dr. Yang then moved to Melbourne, where he completed a Graduate Diploma in Oral Surgery. He worked in multiple private practices before joining the Pinewood Dental Group family in 2009. Through his studies, Dr. Yang has excelled in oral surgical procedures including dentoalveolar surgery, implantology and wisdom teeth management. “Generally, I like helping people, and being a dentist allows me to do so. I love that I am able to immediately fix the pain. On the long run, however, I enjoy educating my patients on how to take better care of their teeth.” Dr. Yang is well travelled and enjoys a good game of badminton. He is a self proclaimed foodie and his favourite local restaurant is the “Proud peacock”. Dr. Yang is a multi-lingual dentist in Mount Waverley, he is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
